About Meghan
Meghan O’Donoghue was born with horses in her blood. Both parents, Mark and Jill, competed at the upper levels of the sport. Meghan made her first mark in the eventing world by winning the first Area Championships for the Beginner Novice level in Area IV on her pony, Over the Rainbow.
Meghan continued her riding career by producing off-the-track thoroughbreds (OTTBs) to sell while competing OTTBs of her own. She has started all of her horse’s careers, never purchased a “going” mount. She found her CCI**** horse, Pirate, at Fairmount racetrack when she was just 15 years old. Together they have competed at the top level of the sport, including being named as traveling alternates to the World Equestrian Games held in France in 2014.
Meghan has continued to develop her business by finding OTTBs and giving them a second chance at a career with the proper start. With a fantastic eye and feel for young horses, Meghan has developed and sold many quality horses to clients all over the country.
Meghan’s goal is to continue competing at the top levels of the sport, both in the country and overseas. She thoroughly enjoys being able to find and source talented young horses, and the process of training them.
